Our Pricing Structure

We believe in being an integral part and valued asset of your business or personal team, not a liability.

This means that our client relationships matter more than time sheets and billable hours. This is why we have a range of pricing models including fixed fee pricing arrangements to best meet your specific needs. A combination of more than one may be suitable.

Fixed Fee Pricing

You may have a specific piece of work required, or a transaction. We can quote you a fixed fee for the task and stick to it.  If there is a change in the agreed scope of work, we will send you a variation detailing the new scope and the price for that change.

With fixed fee pricing you don’t pay for our time – you pay for the work we do and the value you receive. Fixed fee pricing is often used for commercial matters, conveyancing, leasing and legal health checks & audits.

Retainer Agreements

Under such agreements we will charge you a fixed fee periodically for the provision of legal services.  A retainer provides the budgetary control and certainty that hourly billing can’t.  It is calculated to equate to the average value of the work over a long period, so as to give you certainty and regularity of your legal costs. We can tailor a retainer that relates to all of your legal needs, or alternatively to part of the work we perform for you, i.e. covering identified aspects of work (such as all employment law needs, or all advertisement reviews, etc).

The retainer agreement is reviewed regularly to ensure that it is reflective of a fair level in relation to the value offered and the volume of work provided and is usually suitable for periods of 12 months or more.

Hourly Rates:

We recognise that not all matters lend themselves to a fixed fee pricing  arrangement.  So a straight time-based billing option is available if that is what works best for you.

By evaluating the specifics of your legal requirements, an effective fee arrangement can be determined to suit your needs.

Like most firms, our T’s & C’s are standard and can be provided to you, for the relevant area of law, upon request. They are provided with our engagement letter at commencement of work as standard practice.
